Although we have many questions about the people of the past, there are few Research Activities available to provide answers, and few Special Exhibitions have ever been presented that offer a comprehensive view of evolution or origins. The Korean Peninsula connects the continent and the ocean, leading to the inflow of more Genetic material than in any other region. Despite this, our people have maintained a Physical and Cultural Commonality to such an extent that we are often referred to as a Homogeneous Nation.

The answer to when and from whom the Origin of the Nation began carries great significance today. This is because, in the Changes in the Nation, while Genetic Admixture is important, the Environmental Changes on the Korean Peninsula and our shared Culture also significantly influenced the Formation of Physical Characteristics.

This exhibition was planned with the hope of deepening the understanding of the Evolution of Humanity and the Origin and Changes of the Korean People. We also hope that through this exhibition, many people, especially Children and Adolescents, can fully grasp the message that “Humanity on Earth is One” and broaden their Understanding of Humanity.
