The Hanyang University Museum (Director Lee Hee-soo, Professor of Cultural Anthropology) is hosting the Special Exhibition commemorating the 76th Founding Anniversary, Answer Me, Hanyang 1939–2015: Hanyang Life from Admission to Graduation. This is the Hanyang University Museum's first University History Exhibition focusing on the past and present of Hanyang students.

Hanyang University was established in 1939 as the Dong-A Engineering Institute, developed into Korea's first private engineering college in 1948, and was promoted to a comprehensive university in 1959. Furthermore, the Banwol Campus (currently the ERICA Campus) was established in 1979. This exhibition was planned to trace the footsteps of Hanyang people embedded throughout these periods of the school's history.

Based on historical records and artifacts held by the University Archives, Hanyang Life over the past 76 years is being reconstructed in this exhibition. Visitors can explore how university life for Hanyang people has changed, covering aspects such as admission, academics, festivals, student clubs, the student movement, campus media, and graduation. The democratization movement at Hanyang University, which was renowned as a Mecca of the student movement, and the appearance of its athletic teams that dominated national competitions are also introduced. In addition, student ID cards from the 1940s, degrees from the 1960s, and exam papers from the 1990s, all vividly showing the appearance of university students of those eras, are also on display. The 76 years accumulated since the Founding sincerely capture the dreams and passion of Hanyang people, from the romance and youthful ambition of university life to the pains of modern and contemporary history. This exhibition will be an opportunity to encounter the memories of university life from those times and the stories of current university students living in this era.
