To commemorate the 78th Founding Anniversary, the Hanyang University Museum introduces the school's symbol, the lion, and the mascot, Hyrion, and exhibits the "77 Hyrion Outfit Project," in which University members participated by dressing Hyrion.

The Hanyang lion has always been with us, from the lion statue in front of the History Hall (with us since 1966) to the Official mascot, Hyrion (born in 2011), and the character mark that embodies the Hangeul characters 'Hanyang' in the form of a majestic lion.

This exhibition specifically introduces the "77 Hyrion Outfit Project," where the community dressed Hyrion to celebrate the 77th Founding Anniversary in 2016. University members, including students, alumni, and faculty and staff, participated in creating unique Hyrion figures. This project was an opportunity to showcase Hanyang University's latent values and diversity through its symbol and to express Hanyang's dynamism.
