To commemorate its 82nd anniversary, Hanyang University Museum is hosting the Special Exhibition, "Cosmos + Human: Solved by Science, Shaped by Art." The exhibition introduces the latest research findings of scientists searching for the origin of the universe, along with the Artistic World of artists who work with cosmic themes.
The exhibition on the 3rd floor of the museum is held under the theme, "Solved by Science." Visitors can explore research aimed at understanding matter and the universe, including studies recreating the immediate aftermath of the Big Bang, as well as research on Neutrinos and Gravitational Waves.
The exhibition on the 2nd floor, titled "Shaped by Art," introduces works by Dr. Michael Hoch, a scientist and artist at CERN, and works by Park Jin-woo, an artist who depicts the universe using ink and brush.
It is expected that this exhibition, which views the cosmos through the lens of science and art, will contribute to strengthening the Role of University Museums as both educational institutions and cultural arts institutions. The exhibition can be viewed anytime and anywhere via the Online Exhibition Page (http://hy2021cosmonaut.com/).
