Following Phase 01 of "Expansion of the Senses, The Electronic Era," a Repository-type Exhibition that introduced the collection acquired by Hanyang University Museum in November 2021, the museum hosted Phase 02, which reflects upon the era through experience and memory. This exhibition is part of the 2022 University Museum Promotion Support Program, organized by the Korea Association of University Museums and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It offers a look into the Modern and Contemporary Industrial Technology History through four individuals (Lee Man-young, Lee Jung-sung, Lee Joong-geun, and Choi Dal-yong) who are both generous donors of precious collections and living histories of the electronic age.

The exhibition provides an opportunity to experience the changes in the Electronic Era that we currently enjoy as a matter of course. It tells the stories of Dr. Lee Man-young, the Father of Korea's First Computer, and three others—Lee Jung-sung, Lee Joong-geun, and Choi Dal-yong—who were born around the time of liberation and transformed themselves over time: as an Early Adopter of Electronic Devices, a Researcher of International Standardization, an Engineer, a Patent Attorney, and an Artist and Creator.

Furthermore, the exhibition also introduces Practical Education from related departments like Electronic Engineering and Information and Communication, which have developed through Hanyang University's Practical Learning Tradition, along with the Latest Achievements that explore the expansion of the senses we can imagine for the future. Through this Special Exhibition, we aim to provide an opportunity to imagine and contemplate the past, present, and the future of the forthcoming Electronic Era.
