Introducing Hanyang University Museum.
2024.10.31.(Thu) / 2024.11.07.(Thu) Hanyang Museum Academy 13th Cohort, Lecture 5–6
Hello! This is the Hanyang University Museum 😄
📜 The 13th Hanyang Museum Academy, 13th Cohort, <Recording Through Memory – What Kind of Record Does Your Day Leave?> has now reached Lectures 1 through 6 😉
💌 In Lecture 5, we welcomed Senior Researcher Hae-eun Jeong (Academy of Korean Studies) for a session titled <From Love to Farewell: Everything About Letters in the Joseon Dynasty>. Participants explored records that revealed everyday concerns, hidden acts of devotion, and the dignity of personal character, discovering the true value of letters.
🏢 In Lecture 6, we welcomed CEO In-gyu Lee (project <Hello, Dunchon Jugong Apartments>) to examine the <Hello, Dunchon Jugong Apartments> project, which started in 2013. From childhood memories to collective experiences, participants learned how an individual as the subject of record perceives a living space like an apartment, and how those personal records become shared memories.
❤🔥 Students shared their personal memories of Dunchon Jugong Apartments, highlighting its unique aspects. Through these stories, participants reflected on the power of memory and record in relation to “home.” Thank you to everyone who actively shared their precious memories :-)
Lectures 7 and 8 will be covered in the next post =).
✨ Including workshops and the graduation ceremony, three more sessions remain! ✨
We look forward to your continued interest and participation. Thank you 💙
