Introducing Hanyang University Museum.
2024.11.14.(Thu) / 2024.11.21.(Thu) Hanyang Museum Academy 13th Cohort, Lectures 7–8
Hello, this is Hanyang University Museum 😄
📜 The 13th Hanyang Museum Academy cohort, “Recording through Memory – What Kind of Record Does Your Day Leave?” has now completed Lectures 1 through 8 🤭
🖼 In Lecture 7, we welcomed Professor Tae-ho Lee (Chair Professor, Department of Art History, Myongji University) for a session titled “Recording Joseon Landscapes: Our Land through the Eyes of Painters.” Starting with the concept of cha-gyeong (borrowing the view outside the window), we explored how artists documented the land of Joseon with both their eyes and hearts, as well as the development of jingyeong sansuhwa (true-view landscape painting).
🎨 Lecture 8 was a workshop with Ji-hyun Yoo (Cultural & Arts Program Planner) on recording everyday life through the five senses. Participants carefully observed seemingly ordinary days and shared their experiences, transforming memories into tangible records. Through the workshop, attendees learned various methods of documentation and discovered recording techniques that suited them best.
✨ The 13th Hanyang Museum Academy cohort now has only Lecture 9 remaining! Lecture 9 will include the final session and the completion ceremony ✨
We look forward to your continued interest until the very end. Thank you 💙
