🖼️ Exhibition
• Special Exhibition: <Our Traditional Houses (Minga): Finding Roots Beyond Time> An in-depth architectural and cultural exhibition exploring the origins and enduring beauty of traditional Korean residential houses.
🏆 2017 Proud Museum Professional Award
• Recognition of Former Directors: Two former directors of the Hanyang University Museum were honored with this prestigious award: Kim Byung-mo (Chairman of the Korea Cultural Heritage Institute) and Bae Ki-dong (Professor of Cultural Anthropology at Hanyang University). Their lifelong dedication to museology and heritage was celebrated nationally.
📂 Collection Management
• Selection for the 2016–2017 National University Museum Collection Digitization Project: The museum was officially selected for this national initiative, securing resources to advance the systematic database construction and digital archiving of its extensive collections.
🎓 Education
• The 3rd <Drawing Cultural Heritage through the Eyes of Children> Contest: The museum’s signature art event returned, encouraging young students to engage with and reinterpret Korea’s cultural treasures.
• The 39th Spring Cultural Heritage Field Trip: 'Nature Exploration' in Seocheon, Chungcheongnam-do: A seasonal academic excursion focused on the harmonious relationship between historical sites and the natural landscape of the Seocheon region.
• "Culture Day" Program: <Dano and Jangmyeong-ru>: To celebrate the Dano festival, the museum hosted a workshop on crafting Jangmyeong-ru (traditional longevity bracelets) using the five cardinal colors (Obang-saek).
🏛️ History Museum
• HyLion RE:DISPLAY: A refreshed curation of the HyLion-themed exhibits, offering a more dynamic presentation of the university’s mascot and symbolism.
• Hanyang University History Quiz Event: An interactive event designed to foster interest in the university’s heritage through fun and informative historical challenges.
