2. Eligibility

- Enrolled undergraduate students at Hanyang University in the 2024 Spring semester

* Students on leave of absence, extended semesters, graduation postponement, already graduated, voluntary repetition, or other over-semester statuses are not eligible

* Students whose GPA from the previous semester is below 2.0 or who are already receiving other on-campus scholarships are excluded

3. Work Period & Hours

- From 4 March 2024 (Mon) to 2 August 2024 (Fri)

- Total: 22 weeks / 150 working hours during the period

Hanyang University Museum

5. Main Duties

Assisting with museum exhibitions and education programs

Registering and organizing museum library books

Managing administrative documents and other basic office work

6. Education / Training Program

- Operated during the summer vacation within the remaining work hours (optional participation)

-Education 

1. Introduction to museums and Hanyang University Museum

2. Exhibition planning and case studies

3. Artifact management theory and practice

4. Museum education theory, case studies, and practice

5. Exhibition planning practice (interim presentation and final exhibition)

6. Visit to other museums and conversation with curators

-Training (counted as work hours)

1. Artifact organization: organizing unprocessed collection objects and preparing first-stage registration records (in the storage and experience rooms)

2. Exhibition explanation (docent): explaining the permanent exhibition and special exhibitions in the galleries

3. Exhibition planning practice: hands-on practice of exhibition planning in the curatorial office and galleries

4. Administrative support: book organization, administrative document organization, and other basic office tasks in the curatorial office

7. Compensation

- KRW 1,500,000, provided as a tuition scholarship reduction (KRW 1,500,000 deducted from tuition)
