Cement Connect Tour Recruitment Notice
“Four Seasons Fair Travel” is organizing a special travel program, the “Cement Connect Tour,” in collaboration with Hanyang University Museum and the Seongdong Foundation for Arts & Culture, focusing on cement-related architecture in Seongdong-gu.
Application Period: From Saturday, June 1, 2024 to Friday, July 26, 2024
Eligibility: Open to residents of Seongdong-gu and all Seoul citizens

“Four Seasons Fair Travel,” together with Hanyang University Museum and the Seongdong Foundation for Arts & Culture, is running the Cement Connect Tour, a themed trip that explores cement-related architectural cultural heritage in Seongdong-gu.
The first tour, held on May 24 with international participants from the “The_Arts_in_Society” conference at Hanyang University, was a great success. Participants visited historic architectural heritage sites, enjoyed performances including the daegeum piece “Cheongseong-gok,” and experienced Korean traditional culture and arts. Travelers from abroad spent meaningful time together, transcending geographic and cultural boundaries, engaging with one another, and discovering the dynamic yet relaxed atmosphere of contemporary Seongsu-dong at their own pace and rhythm.
This tour program is composed of three themes: local themed travel, culture & arts travel, and barrier-free travel. Together with the travelers, it explores Seongdong-gu, where industrial sites are being transformed into cultural and artistic spaces. The itinerary includes a hands-on cement-making activity using the principles of cement at Hanyang University Museum and a visit to Seongsu Atelier operated by the Seongdong Foundation for Arts & Culture.
The Cement Connect Tour offers a chance to experience Seongdong-gu’s unique architecture and culture, while travelers from diverse backgrounds can communicate and enjoy the journey together. We warmly invite you to join us on this tour.
