《뉴월드 New World》 2024 Ieum Arts Creation Academy Creator Course Completion Exhibition OPEN!
At Hanyang University Museum, the rental exhibition 《뉴월드 New World》 opened on January 4 (Sat).
Come and encounter a “new world” through the candid expressions of the artists who participated in the academy.
In this exhibition, jointly organized by the Korea Disability Arts & Culture Center and Hanyang University, emerging disabled artists are highlighted within a multidimensional space that encompasses disability/non-disability, art/education, and Korea/Japan. Designed from an internationally comparative perspective, the exhibition aims to reveal culturally embedded prejudices toward disability arts and to call for shared reflection.
Works by artists affiliated with the Japanese institutions for developmental-disability art Otagawa Gakuen and Hurupon are also presented.
