Three Kingdoms Period

The Three Kingdoms Period is around A.D. 300, a period of about three centuries, when the Three Kingdoms began to establish a national system. As the spread of iron culture accelerated, ironware became widely used in many parts of Korea. In addition, productivity and population increased due to the expansion of agriculture using iron tools and the expansion of arable land. The development of iron tools and weapons promoted social differentiation and led to the ancient kingdom as conquest projects became more active. The technology to make earthenware also developed, and unlike previous bare-patterned earthenware, the baking temperature gradually increased, and the development of detailed technology led to the development of gray-blue earthenware in this Period.
