Introducing Hanyang University Museum.
The Three Kingdoms Period was a time when Goguryeo, Baekje, and Silla, which started out as tribal nations, broke away from primitive state systems and established their own framework of ancient states. Each of them digested iron culture, which began to be accepted in the process of growth, and generalized iron farming tools and reorganized political systems. In addition, Buddhism spread, laying the foundation for future spiritual cultures along with Confucianism, and absorbing and recreating continental culture. Meanwhile, Unified Silla, which integrated the cultures of Goguryeo and Baekje, occupies an area south of Wonsan Bay on the Daedong River and forms a single nation-state. It grew into an international city by actively interacting with the Tang, Japan, and other countries in southwestern Asia to lay the foundation for its national culture.
